If my opponent summons a monster, and I activate "Dark Renewal" targeting that monster and a Spellcaster on my side of the field, and my opponent chains "Book of Moon" targeting my Spellcaster, do I still get to Special Summon a DARK Spellcaster from the effect of "Dark Renewal"?
In this case, since "Dark Renewal" states to "send both monsters", not "send both targets", the monsters do not have to meet the target requirements at resolution. "Dark Renewal" will resolve successfully and summon the DARK Spellcaster.
If my opponent summons "Zoma the Spirit", can I activate "Dark Renewal", and will it summon a DARK Spellcaster monster?
You can activate "Dark Renewal" since the condition is met. "Zoma the Spirit" and the other monster will be sent to the GY and a DARK Spellcaster can be summoned.
If "Macro Cosmos" is faceup on the field, and my opponent summons a monster, can I activate "Dark Renewal", and will it summon a DARK Spellcaster?
You can activate "Dark Renewal" since the condition is met and the monsters will be banished, butsince they were not sent to the GY, the A requirements in this 'A then B' effect in not met, so the DARK Spellcaster will not be summoned.
If my opponent summons a Token, can I activate "Dark Renewal", and will it summon a DARK Spellcaster monster?
You can activate "Dark Renewal" since the condition is met and it will remove the token from the field, but since the token didn't get sent to the GY, the A requirement in this 'A then B' effect is not met, so the DARK Spellcaster will not be summoned.
Can I target a "Giltia the D. Knight" with "Lost Wind"?
I have a "Gearfried the Red-Eyes-Iron Knight" and a set "Blast with Chain". My opponent has a monster and "Creature Swap". My opponent activates "Creature Swap" and I chain "Blast with Chain" to target the "Gearfried the Red-Eyes Iron Knight". How does this chain resolve? Who gets to activate the trigger effect of "Gearfried the Red-Eyes Iron Knight"?
"Blast with Chain" resolves, equipping to Gearfried. Then "Creature Swap" moves Gearfried to the opponent's field. Now the player who currently controls "Gearfried the Red-Eyes Iron Knight" can trigger it's effect to destroy the equipped "Blast with Chain" and optionally another Spell/Trap on the field.
